The Story


The Aegis LT is our state-of-the-art, fully seam taped, 3-layer, technical hard-shell, featuring our custom StormTek™ waterproof/breathable ePTFE technology. Hitting a sweet spot with durability, abrasion resistance, weight and packability, this piece of outerwear will keep you protected from rain, wind, snow and anything in between. The Aegis LT is an all-season hard-shell designed for adventurers who like to be lighter and agile on their feet while uncompromising in the function, and useful and purpose driven design details, that characterize all of PDW's goods. Our StormTek™ waterproof/breathableePTFE technology is storm rated to 23,000mm waterproofness and a MTVR of 21,000g/m2, both at the top end of the highest performance range of 3-layer fabrics. The outer shell fabric layer is a 40D nylon, mini ripstop with C6 DWR, and the inner fabric layer is a 30D wicking PES. The hardshell's feature set include; bonded mini bill, helmet cut hood with 2-way cinch cord adjustability, 2 main chest pockets, 2 upper sleeve pockets with laser cut and welded loop panels for morale patches, 1 inside pocket with pen slot, Hypalon cuff tabs, 4 dummy cord anchors, YKK Aquaguard® zippers and industry leading, patented Cohaesive™ integrated components system throughout.
